'The Lost Continent' relates the story of the destruction of the legendary city of Atlantis. This fantasy novel is considered one of the classic fictional retellings of the this myth, combining elements from Plato with the earlier Greek myth concerning a universal flood and the restoration of the human race by Deucalion.
