Gulf Security in the Twenty-first Century

Bok av Christian Koch
Concentrating on the security of the Gulf in the 21st century, this work focuses on Iran's foreign policy towards its Gulf neighbours, Iraq's military threat, US Middle East policy and Europe's inability to pursue a united policy to safeguard its economic interests in the area. The topical issues of religious radicalism and the challenges of democratic pluralism are explored with a view to assessing the impact of political Islam on regional security.
