Children, Cities, and Psychological Theories : Developing Relationships

This text presents 12 popular theories in psychology, and their applicability to issues of child development in urban environments is tested. The major goal of the text is to make explicit the premises and research practices of 12 widely popular theoretical orientation in psychology, and to test their applicability to issues of child development in urban environments.
