It's ice wine season and Charming Books owner Violet Waverly is still reeling from a past heartbreak. The ice wine festival will turns colder still when Violet finds a celebrity sommelier in the middle of a frozen vineyard - with a grape harvest knife protruding from her chest. The prime suspect is the victim's sister, Lacey - but Violet is sure of her innocence, and asks for guidance from her magical bookshop. Violet, Grandma Daisy, Emerson the tuxedo cat, and resident crow Faulkner are back on the case.
