Operations Research and Environmental Management

This work presents novel operations research methods for optimal management of the environment. A wide spectrum of applications of these methods clarifies how environmental management can be carried out at the local, regional and international level. Local natural resource problems and international environmental issues are discussed and appropriate policy measures are proposed.
