Bok av Ruud H Koning
The increasing importance of sports economics in academic research might be related to the growing importance of sport in daily life; researchers are starting to use sport as a test bed and sports policies as natural experiments to deliver insights into human behaviour that could well be relevant for general labour markets, industrial economics and regional economics. The papers of this special issue help to identify general trends in sports economics and to summarise potential future developments.
