Katja Strunz's sculptures, works on paper, paintings and installations bring together the elements of time and transience. Her artistic practice reflects the constructivist vocabulary of the historical avant-garde in which she fragments and compiles objects in order to lend them an autonomous force, thus enabling them to have an existence according to their function.
