A history of Eastern Europe : crisis and change

A historical survey and analysis of the formative processes of change which have played major roles in shaping the development of eastern Europe. The historical problems which have affected this area are examined although the focus is on the modern era and the effects of ethnic nationalism, communism and fascism.
