A duty to resist : when disobedience should be uncivil

What are our responsibilities in the face of injustice? As Candice Delmas argues, we have a duty to resist injustice, which is more important, sometimes, than our duty to obey the law. Delmas turns the traditional arguments for civil disobedience on their head, and lays out a clear argument for the duty to go beyond that to resist injustice, even by uncivil means, when necessary.
