Environmental Management

Looking at the foundations and policies of sustainable development, the book describes the principles and processes of ecosystems and the basic environmental management tools, including funding possibilities that are required for environmental management particularly in developing. Grown from a series of seminars on environmental management organized by UNEP Environmental Education and Training Unit with inputs from UNESCO Regional Office for Science and Technology in Africa, this volume is a compilation of presentations made at these seminars. Environmental Management is a new field which covers topics such as environmental impact assessment, Earthwatch and international conventions.
