Getting Near To Baby

This 2000 Newbery Honor Book introduces Willa Jo and Little Sister, whose family falls apart after the death of their baby sister. With their mother in an unshakable depression, the girls are sent to live with their strict Aunt Patty and her husband. Aunt Patty really doesn't understand what the girls are dealing with--until they climb to the roof of the house and stay there.
