After her Aunt's suicide fall off Westminister Bridge, Gina's cousin Lindsie comes to take charge of her. Gina finds herself locked in the attic of a big house in Cranbourne Square; she starts sleepwalking and has odd lapses of memory. Gina inherits her Grandfather's shipping line when she turns eighteen and throws herself into work to banish her emotional pain. Until, she meets handsome Dr Timothy Trenchard and finds true happiness at last. But on their wedding day she is abandoned at the church. A spiteful letter, laced with malice, accuses her of two-timing him.
