Rolls
Bok av Nick Walker
In 1922, Rolls-Royce introduced their new 20hp model, known as the Twenty - the first in a series of what are now called the 'Small Horsepower' cars. The Twenty was replaced in 1930 by the 20/25 with a slightly larger 3.7-liter engine and then, as coachwork grew inexorably heavier, by the 4.25-liter 25/30 in 1936. The last of the pre-War cars was the Wraith, only made in 1939. This title describes: Rolls-Royce up to 1920; The Twenty; The 20/25; The 25/30; The Wraith; On the Road Then; On the Road Now; and, Specifications and Appendices. This is the first and last book the Rolls-Royce enthusiast or owner will need. Specially commissioned color photography of nine preserved examples showing variations in coachwork and body styles through the period. The author has a reputation for digging interesting stories out of the archives - in this case the Rolls-Royce board meeting minutes and company memos.
