The OSCE in the maintenance of peace and security : conflict prevention, crisis management, and peaceful settlement of disputes

This work illustrates the structure and functions of the OSCE, and evaluates its ability to cope with an evolving European security order. It covers extensively three main subjects: human rights (human dimension), peaceful settlement of disputes, and peace-keeping.
