"The Queen's Speech" outlines the Government's legislative programme for the 2009-10 session of Parliament. The following issues are included in the Government's commitments: Sustained economic growth; Strengthening of public services; Global and European collaboration through the G20; Planned international visiting; Regulation of financial services; Reduction of the budget deficit once economic recovery is established; Provision of free personal care to those in need; Raising of educational standards; Protection of communities and parental responsibility for children's antisocial behaviour; Communications infrastructure; Carbon capture and storage; High speed rail services between London and Scotland; Flood protection; Equality; Child poverty; Employment conditions for agency workers; Constitutional reform; and, Bribery and co-operation with the devolved governments. The following Bills are introduced: Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill; Bribery Bill; Financial Services Bill; Digital Economy Bill; Energy Bill; Flood and Water Management Bill; Children, Schools and Families Bill; Equality Bill; Crime and Security Bill; Child Poverty Bill; Cluster Munitions (Prohibitions) Bill; Fiscal Responsibility Bill; Personal Care at Home Bill; Northern Ireland Assembly Members Bill; and, Draft International Development Spending Bill.
