Science and Treaties: Follow-up Report 1st Report of Session : House of Lords Papers 2004-05 32

Bok av Broers Alec Nigel Broers Baron
The report of how the science content of international treaties could be improved was published in June 2004 (HL 110 2003-4). This publication contains both the Government's response and a commentary by the Committee who believe that in four respects the response of the Government is unsatisfactory and inadequate. The four areas are recommendation: to increase the number of science attacheas in overseas posts; improve inter-departmental coordination; involve parliament; persuade other governments to ratify the Kyoto Protocol.
