Bioorganic Chemistry: Peptides and Proteins

This book will provide an overview of peptides and proteins including coverage of the chemical synthesis of peptides and proteins and modern methods for analysis of protein structure and folding. Also reviewed is the way in which proteins function as catalysts and a comparison of enzymes with antibody catalysts. A review of fundemental material is presented in the first part of each chapter, followed by a more detailed consideration of, or more examples from, the authors' laboratory or from the current literature.
