Volume III completes the definitive edition of the writings of Theobald Wolfe Tone, barrister, United Irishman, agent of the Catholic Committee, and later an officer in the French revolutionary army. It covers the last period of Tone's eife, up to his death following the abortive Irish uprising of 1798. Volume III includes a complete index to all three volumes.
