Women of Van Diemen's Land - Staffordshire Convicts

In the sequel to her book 'Sent to Van Diemen's Land', Gladys delves deeper into the histories of Staffordshire people transported to Australia. Gladys has extensive experience in researching family histories. During her study of her own family tree she has been struck by the stories that have been both inspirational and harrowing. In 'Sent to Van Diemen's Land' she concentrated on the Staffordshire Chartists. In this book she concentrates more on the women convicts and their families.
