The Eldest Daughter

Bok av Josephine Hinchcliffe
When Imogen Heywood is 23, she manages to contact and then meet her real father for the first time in her adult life. The meeting is painfully short and profoundly disappointing - to such an extent that she feels she has been rebuffed by him again, if not finally rejected. Her father has re-married and has a new family - a family that knows nothing about Imogen or her mother. Imogen resolves to track him down to this new life he has built for himself and, somehow or other, to exact a 'sweet, sweet revenge' for the hurt he has caused her mother and herself. She is initially successful in locating him, thanks to the Facebook page of one of her two, unknown, half-sisters, but when she herself moves to his new home town, her attempts at retribution are hampered by her feelings for him, by her gradual involvement with his new family and by very surprising romantic attachments of her own.
