A Celtic Psaltery

The Celts had a deep love for the psalms, which gave them a feeling for verse and a desire to express their love for God in every situation. David Adam has collected songs for guidance and songs for protection, hymns for the morning and others for the evening, which were written and used by the Celtic peoples either in personal prayer, or as part of the ritual of ordinary village life. These songs and prayers are divided into 11 main sections, with titles like creation, morning, evening, protection, etc. Each section opens with a full page illustration on the facing page.
