Studies in Newspaper and Periodical History : 1995 Annual

The 1995 Annual reflects a wide range of work on serial publication, addressed chronologically, geographically, and theoretically. It spans the period from 1700 through the 1970s and has a distinct international dimension showing how serial publication both followed the expansion of international trade and how it served as one of the sinews that bound together all of the different cultural elements comprising the expanding global economic network. This 1995 Annual volume, edited by Michael Harris and Tom O'Malley, represents the continuation of the Journal of Newspaper and Periodical History.
