Murder on Washington Square

Turn-of-the-century New York City midwife Sarah Brandt thinks it's absurd that mild-mannered banker Nelson Ellsworth murdered his mistress, but to the police it makes sense--if the woman was indeed carrying Ellsworth's child. Now it will take the skill of Detective Frank Malloy to clear Ellsworth's name--and determine if Sarah was right that the victim may have been the victimizer.
