Renal Stone Disease: No. 2 : 2nd International Urolithiasis Research Symposium Indianapolis, Indiana, 17-18 April 2008

Bok av International Urolithiasis Research Symposium
All papers have been peer-reviewed. A generation ago, the management of patients with urinary stones was forever altered with the introduction of minimally invasive treatment techniques such as shock wave lithotripsy, ureteroscopy, and percutaneous stone removal. We are on the cusp of, again, revolutionary developments in the management and prevention of nephrolithiasis. This conference featured a very distinguished international faculty whose present research is clearly advancing the field of stone disease, and added a new area: the relation of bone biology to stone disease.
