Religions and Languages : A Colloquium

When philosophers of religion address the special problems of religious language they often restrict their scope to semantics, the English language, and the Christian tradition. The essays and discussions in this volume extend those frontiers to include syntactical and performative issues, a global perspective on cultural and religious diversity, and Continental as well as Anglo-American methodologies.
