The third part of Armies of the Bear Volume I, covers orders of battle for the Red Army's 51st through 75th Rifle Divisions, 1917-1957. Volume I has 19 parts, and there are to be ten volumes in all. This comprehensive listing, enriched with never previously available material from the Russian military archives, includes raising and disbanding dates for divisions and their successor divisions, a brief history, commanders, awards, dates on active service, subordinate units, and a month by month listing of the higher HQs the divisions served under.
