Justice Is a Lie

Bok av Bill D Hallsted
The carnage and waste of human life was beyond anything Levi had ever faced. But he had solved the case Pinkerton had sent him to solve. He knew who murdered Hiram Dawson. Most importantly, he knew why. All he had to do was make the arrest and file the report. The trouble was, if he did his duty, he would destroy another innocent victim, and many others as well. Ranged in front of him were six men, all armed and dangerous. Among them was the deputy sheriff. Standing nearby cringed the killer Levi's duty required him to arrest. He knew with every fiber of his being he could not talk those six men out of resisting him. They wanted a different justice than his sense of the law would allow. Would the Pinkerton man back down and turn away from what the law demanded? There were only seconds left to make his fateful decision.
