Ivan & Me

A speaker, participant, and organizer of many civil rights marches in the late 1960s and early 1970s in Northern Ireland, Ivan Cooper was one of the organizers of a march that ended with the British Army killing 14 men and injuring 14 others. In 2002 with the release of Paul Greengrass' film "Bloody Sunday, " he came face to face with his past. His failure to prevent a massacre was now on screen for all to see.
