Dignity Bridge
Bok av August Sterling
State Senator Webster Elton Stanford III has gone incognito in
the depths of recession ravaged Downtown based on a wager he's
entered into with longtime friend and colleague Congressman David
Vernon. A critical bill on homelessness, poverty and public assistance
is fast approaching, and Webster (Wes) must formulate his vote based
on real world observations from the streets and not just raw data or
political rhetoric.
Follow Wes as he chronicles his travels through the underbelly
of the city, and pray for his safety as his assignment takes an
unexpected turn.
Dignity Bridge is a rich tale that pits anger, fear and despair against
hope and compassion. From rogues and scoundrels to guardians and
families trying merely to survive, watch as they traverse an inner city
where food and shelter are in short supply, but dignity is ever-present
in an environment where nightmares live.
