Go Ahead You're Home in Dutch: "Loopt U Door, U Bent, Thuis." These were the magical words spoken by the immigration officer when we handed over our passports on arrival at Amsterdam Airport. My goal, as a single, full time, working mother was to begin a new peaceful life in The Netherlands, securing a better future for me and my children. It involved mountain-moving faith and breaking boundaries with a burning desire and determination to succeed. A true and poignant story of forgiveness, hope and love from humble beginnings, marked by economic highs and lows, youthful lust, drug abuse, infidelity, divorce and immigration.
