Forty-something Carolyn Blue is through with cooking and cleaning. She's finally decided to throw in the dishtoweland take on a dream job as a food writer. Now her plate is filled with exotic locales, delectable foods, and even a dash of crimeto taste. She could very well get used to this. Carolyn's New York launch of her first book has gone up in smokeliterally. At the urging of her editor, Carolyn agrees to flambe her popular turkey recipe for a crowd of fellow foodies and writers. When the publicity stunt rages out of control, two flaming turkeys are tossed out onto the street below. One injures the publisher, who was on his way to the partyand the other causes a tragic accident that ends the life of a young woman. Suddenly, the acclaimed food writer is being accused of a terrorist attack on Lower Manhattan. Now it's up to Carolyn to restore her reputation and find out who sabotaged her book-launch flambe.
