In 1986, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted James Brown into its first class of music's history makers. This class also included Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Fats Domino, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Little Richard.
