First World, Emerging Markets and Globalization: The Development of the World's Nations

Based on set criteria such as Gross Domestic Product and per capita income, the term developing country relates to the world's largest economic powers. This book explores the three worlds theory and the concept of globalization. Also included are the factors involved in designating a country as developed, developing, emerging, or pre-emerging.
