VANESSA ALTIVOLANTIS Art is more than a mere indulgence, art may be a force for good or it may simply be the lubricant when ushering in a brave new world, but for the protagonists - the artists - an audience is a necessity; working in a state of flux is non-productive. In a binary world art is either on or it is off - in between does not exist. Whilst for some the very act of pursuing their art by fulfilling their dreamscape with a live performance can be dangerous, for most the release of creative energy is a basic need. Raising art off the ground may be a challenge in itself but like a kite when it rises in the air it transcends flying and soars like Altivolantis. Art can be both enabler - seek and ye shall find - and enabled; providing a greater vision for the common good. Where there is art there is humanity, where there is humanity there is life.
