Economics of Education

The Economics of Education is a textbook suitable in particular for second and third year undergraduates. It includes a full treatment of recent developments in this rapidly growing field. Aspects of labour economics and industrial economics are blended together in the study of the education sector. The book also provides an interesting applied perspective from which to study a selection of advanced topics in economic theory, including overlapping generations models, auctions theory, rank order tournaments and principal agent problems.
