Carnival of the Animals

"Carnival of the Animals" is an illustrated collection of 14 fables in verse based on the music of Camille Saint-Saens of the same name. The music representing each of the 14 animals inspired the story, the mood and the drama of each fable. The illustrations by Kendall Lipsett join with the verse to accentuate the action and the humour of each story. Together, the writing and the art make for entertaining and thought-provoking family-oriented reading.
