Journal of a Tour in the Years 1828-1829, through Styria, Carniola, and Italy, whilst Accompanying the Late Sir Humphrey Davy (Illustrated Edition)

At the request of Sir Humphry Davy (1778-1829), the Cornish chemist and inventor, Dr J J Tobin, accompanied him on a tour of Europe which sadly ended with Sir Humphry's death in a hotel in Geneva on 29 May 1829. This account of their travels was published in 1832 and includes five illustrations made by Dr Tobin during the tour.
