While Angels Weep

Bok av Kathleen Huddle
While Angels Weep, a book of prose and quotations enriched by 64 colored images of original artwork by artist Kathleen Huddle, features angels of peace. Huddle's central theme is a message of peace, highlighted by the angel's frustration in delivering the message of world peace to humankind. According to Huddle's observations, "man is remedial in learning the lesson of peace." Huddle is inspired by John Lennon, the former Beatle and peace poet, who encouraged us to "imagine all the people living life in Peace," and urged us "to give peace a chance". Also Huddle is greatly influenced by Eleanor Roosevelt who said, "It isn't enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn't enough to believe in it. One must work for it." Huddle's sensitive handling of various media, as well as the emotional content and countenances of the angels will leave the viewer wanting to see more. Twenty years in the making, Huddle's book of rich images of angels and prose will both delight and edify the viewer.
