Angels in the Night

The Three Wise Men, the Shepherds, Christmasgifts, and other Christmas holiday traditions call forth timeless thoughts in the 28 verses of Angels in the Night. These verses were written by Micks Purnell for the Christmas cards he has sent to family and friends over the years. The first was written in 1970 when Micks was 20 years old. Each was written in the October-to-December timeframe of the year for the upcoming Christmas holiday season. Each verse was designed to provide a warm and stabilizing thought to the reader through a perspective on Christmas. With the verses in Angels in the Night are the simple line drawings Micks created for the front of his Christmas cards.
