Unknown Heroes : The American Culture That History Forgot

Bok av Vernell Everett
These short stories of fiction depicting a people that failed to appreciate their rich and beautiful heritage. These reflections are about a people that had to start from zero to forge a way of life that provided opportunities to be true survivors of the strongest. Those that survived became stronger people for having gone through those hellish times. These were the men, women and children whose sweat and blood built this great country we call America. I grew up in the Bible belt of the Southern United States. We were nomads most of my early life. I left the South at the age of fifteen. I moved from one state to another until I ended up in Michigan. I graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in Industrial Psychology. I worked with General management until I retired after nearly forty years with the Company. One of my hobbies was selling real estate-twelve years. My hobbies are, or were, traveling by motor home, riding motorcycles and flying single engine airplanes. I got involved in writing after I retired and move to Florida.
