The author of this book believes that the blacks featured herein provide the desired "habitual visions of greatness," a phrase associated with Alfred North Whitehead, that motivates us to be all that we can be (Whitehead, Aims of Education). In the book of Philippians 4:8 the inspired Apostle Paul tells us: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
