Bok av Martin Vervloet
Two kingdoms are at war. Through an unusual set of circumstances, a peasant girl, Danesha, is chosen to become the bride of the soon-coming prince. Although she consents to the betrothal, she struggles in her heart, for she has not yet met him. Many temptations and trials lie ahead as she awaits her groom's unknown arrival.
As events progress, victory in battle hinges upon her and her family. Will they be able to persevere and escape the allures and snares sent to deceive and destroy them? Or will they succumb to the unrelenting pressure to conform and forsake their loyalty to the king? Will the one who loves Danesha fail when she needs him most, or will he be trustworthy?
