Proverbs of a Grandfather

My precious children, this fourth book of proverbs, along with time, has brought me more and more to the realization that our family times, when we are all together once a year, are so special to me. Of course I pray that when we are together we can communicate and connect and not just go from one activity to another. I love it when we are all in the rental house together just hanging out, talking, playing games, resting, praying. Those moments have the most meaning to me. I also love it when I can sit or go for a walk individually with you while having great conversation. This time is also so precious and memorable for me. Three different people have said that he has a heart for the Lord our God like King David. This has encouraged him as he has compared himself to the character of David, the good and bad. Like David, he certainly has not reaped the bad he has sown but rather has seen so much good and blessing in life. At different times, he has wondered where God was, only to find that He has always been with him. It has now gotten to the point when he thinks these doubtful thoughts due to circumstances that seem impossible, that he immediately knows God is with him, and he has peace and moves on whether it is a family or business issue or any other situation.
