Human sexuality is a complex process involving the interaction of biological, psychological, sociological, cultural, and spiritual/ethical dimensions. Similarly, the development of one's sexuality is a complex process that is forever evolving and changing. The issues surrounding sexuality covered in this book are varied and relate to factors such as the body, love, contraception, cultural heritage, communication, etc. Some of these issues are actual life events, such as pregnancy, that occur within the life of most individuals; others stem from reactions to or feelings about any life event or aspect of sexuality.
