A M Klein (1909-1972) is widely considered to be one of the great Canadian writers of the twentieth century. A Montreal editor, essayist, and novelist, Klein is perhaps best known and most admired as a poet. His dazzling mastery of language and poetic form has left an indelible mark on our national literature. His influence continues to be felt, amplified by the tragedy of his self-imposed, prolonged silence and untimely death. This unique anthology includes poems dedicated to A. M.
