I suggest the idea that the hippie movement was a communist movement, with just about no street players having a clue thereof. Those who knew, seized opportunities accordingly. The leaders, the community organizers, described within, took full advantage of rebellious youth. We've all witnessed 45 years of bash America, which is now at a fever pitch with our illustrious politicians and attorneys stomping the last remnants of America into oblivion, as constituents just say yes. The example of political correctness as generated by a political party defines your mold of thought. This is not the Liberty that drew millions to the promise land, it is the tyranny of communism that is rapidly consuming America. This is the ideological "change", that is core to the "Progressives" in this country, and was put on steroids by the left side of the Baby-Boomer Generation, that I un-affectionately call, "Hippie-dumb", because it is. I grew up in a family of 12 kids in Southeastern Michigan, and graduated from high school in 1969. Within a few months, I was listening to plenty of Jimi Hendrix, and soon became "experienced" with several kinds of drugs. I went to college for two years and legally avoided the draft. I smoked pot for about 35 years, but as it turned out, I spent half of that time weaning myself from it. Leaving Hippie-dumb behind is one of the best things I have done. The best thing is reading the King James gospel, and when I finished, I sensed an awareness of a presence, that said, without the knowledge of the Bible, one could be in trouble in the next life, and possibly in this life, and that this is a true story, the whole Bible, and that I know it is a true story.
