Poems from a Deaconess Heart
Bok av Kimberly Ann Newton
Kimberley Ann Newton was born April 12, 1961at Los Campanas Hospital in Compton Ca. to Kenneth Welch and Roberta J. Hall. After graduating High School, Kimberly Ann Newton was in a horrible car accident with one of her school mates. She laid in a coma while she was in the hospital. Her parents were not sure if she would make it but through it all they stayed prayerful. It would be three and a half weeks later until God will bring her out of that coma. Kimberly had to learn how to walk, feed herself again and do all the things that a newborn child would learn how to do. Despite her oppositions Kimberly Ann Newton did not give up she continued on. She still has some physical challenges to this day but continue to stay prayerful and faithful to God.
On October 28, 2007 Kimberly Ann Newton was joined in Holy Matrimony to Deacon Henry Newton at New St. Paul Baptist Church by Pastor Lorenzo L. Edwards. Kimberley Newton continued to grow in the Lord and was ordained and Licensed as a Deaconess at New St. Paul Baptist Church on May 31st 2009. Kimberly Ann continues to spread the word of God during women service, singing on the praise team and choir. She is living proof that nothing is impossible to them that believe.
Deaconess Kimberley Ann Newton always enjoyed writing poetry. She was moved by her Pastor and lead by God to write one of the most profound Poetry books; Poems from the Heart of a Deaconess.
