Doobie Kind and the Hideout is a tale of adventure, along with encouragement towards faith in Jesus to be the answer one needs in life's struggles. When Doobie Kind and his best friend, Robbie, are wrongfully involved in the breaking of a neighbor's window, they seek the refuge of their hideout, as well as the comfort of their eternal hideout, Jesus, to escape their troubles. Their actions and prayers demonstrate their trust in God's love and power, and how effective prayer can be to bring peace and a solution. The author, Vickie Sauceda, is a retired school teacher, having taught in a private Christian school 21 years.
