The Truth Seeker (Book Three) : Inevitable

Bok av Roger James
In the last book The Truth Seeker: I Remember, the title provides the clue as to the key to that part of the journey. In the absence of further direction, their lives together must keep moving forward. Their looming honeymoon is a welcome respite and a fitting end to what they have endured. But is the journey really over? Or is this interlude of fun and sun down in Mexico merely the calm before the storm? The answers are unequivocal as Emmett bursts back into their lives. A pivotal event sends them in a new purposeful direction. What they learned previously on the journey was clearly meant to prepare them for what is to happen in the future. The new direction is only the tip of the iceberg. Along with it come a commitment and an altruistic willingness to help others. None of this happens without a price and sacrifices. As they change, so does the world. The world's geopolitical outlook takes a radical turn, providing a backdrop for what they are compelled to do. Previous relationships reemerge and evolve down paths no one could possibly imagine. People are inclined to really show their true nature when under pressure. If Veronica and Phillip's journey is viewed as a river, the previous two books might be considered a quickly moving current with tributaries that equate to choices and discovery. This third book becomes the raging rapids, and there is no escape. The course has been set, and now the participants must hang on for dear life. Jesus paid for the life preservers with His own life and offers them to anyone willing to reach for them. The ending is a complete surprise and takes Veronica and Phillip in yet another direction not entirely unexpected.
