Hayom Haba : The Next Day

I have always wondered what the disciples of Jesus were doing on the day after his crucifixion. All I could find in the Scriptures was that was when the temple religious leaders asked Pilot to secure the tomb of Jesus and place a guard there. That is when I began to look at the possibilities of what the disciples may have gone through. The disciples of Jesus and some of his followers are now sheltering in the same building where two days before, Jesus celebrated the last supper with twelve men he had chosen to spread the good news of salvation for mankind. Later that same night, Judas Iscariot would betray Jesus with a kiss. This would lead to the arrest, trial, conviction, and crucifixion of Jesus. It is now the next day. A day when the disciples will try to make some sense out of what happened to Jesus. With no one to lead them, they have no direction to go. Some of the disciples' debate about the possibility whether or not of Jesus rising from the dead on the third day. Peter will learn about the true meaning of faith while also trying to prevent a disciple of Jesus from leaving in the middle of the night.
